PUBLIC ART - THE HAGS WITH THE BAGS
This statue of two ladies with shopping bags is located near the Halfpenny Bridge and locally it is known as "The Hags With The Bags".
I never did discover why this bronze is located here but I was told that it was this was the centre of the garment industry in Dublin but I am not convinced.
