RIVERFEST JUNE BANK HOLIDAY 2017
This June Bank Holiday, Saturday 3rd – Monday 5th June, North Wall Quay once again played host to the Dublin Port Riverfest and it my opinion the event was more than disappointing because I am beginning to suspect that this event is little more than a pre-packaged travelling circus of so called ‘Tall Ships’ designed to make money by visiting various ports throughout Ireland and the UK. Next weekend many of the same ships will visit the ‘Irish Maritime Festival 2017’ in Drogheda.
